MassGOP Statement On Democrat Governors' Nantucket Retreat

BOSTON - MassGOP Chairman Kirsten Hughes released the following statement in response to the Democratic Governors Association's retreat on Nantucket this week:

"Nantucket might be at risk of floating away given the influx of hot air blowing onto the island thanks to the DGA's retreat. Democrat governors should run and hide if DGA Chairman Malloy tries to provide governing advice this week, because his failed leadership is particularly apparent here in the Commonwealth. Malloy's toxic doctrine of higher taxes and wasteful spending forced General Electric to flee Connecticut for Massachusetts, with its pro-growth environment under a Republican governor." -MassGOP Chairman Kirsten Hughes
