ELIZABETH WARREN AND CHER: A TWITTER LOVE AFFAIR

BOSTON– Elizabeth Warren seems to have made quite the impression on her number one fan Cher, who frequently expresses her “unabashed” support for the liberal Harvard professor on Twitter.

On Friday, Warren received a glowing endorsement from Cher on the front page of the New York Times when she said she is “just thrilled every time I can hear the woman speak.” But that is not the first time Cher has expressed her support for Professor Warren, judging by Cher’s Twitter feed.

“Given their shared left-wing views and Hollywood elitist attitudes, it’s not surprising that Cher has fallen head over heels with Professor Warren,” said Alleigh Marre, spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Republican Party. “Unfortunately for her campaign, Elizabeth Warren is being received far less enthusiastically by the voters of Massachusetts.”
