Occupy Wall Street Incident Report

One-Stop Source For Updates On The Antics Of Professor Warren’s Intellectual Offspring

BOSTON – Now that Professor Elizabeth Warren has taken credit for creating the “intellectual foundation” of the Occupy movement, the Massachusetts Republican Party is providing an “Occupy Wall Street Incident Report.”

In today’s report, the AP writes on three more arrests overnight at Occupy Boston after “dozens of activists” clashed with law enforcement, the Boston Herald editorializes on the deteriorating conditions of the protest site and refers to the Dewey Square encampment as a “virtual open sewer.” Protesters have also announced plans to hack into the computer systems of banks to “return money to the 99%.”

Boston Herald: “The encampment has become a virtual open sewer with city officials expressing — again in their court filings — fears about a ‘serious risk of the spread of communicable disease.’ The city’s lawyers said of the site, ‘Its structures clearly violate the fire code, the building code and health code as well as Park [Greenway Conservancy] guidelines and rules.’”

Associated Press: “Police have arrested three protesters from the Occupy Boston movement, accusing them of disorderly conduct after dozens of activists surrounded a patrol wagon and refused to let it move … Police say between 75 and 100 protesters surrounded the police wagon and additional patrol vehicles were called to the scene.”

Tech News Daily: “Two top hacktivist groups, Anonymous and TeaM p0isoN, are now working together to hack and harass banks in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

“Announced in a YouTube video, the new campaign is called ‘Operation Robin Hood’ and, like its titular character, the hacktivism effort seeks to ‘return the money to those who have been cheated by our system and most importantly to those hurt by our banks.’”
