Northborough GOP Caucus (Election of Convention Delegate)

Members of the Northborough RTC will meet on Saturday, February 3rd @ 10:00 am for the purposed of electing Delegates to the Mass GOP State Convention on April 28th at the DCU Center in Worcester. We have been allocated spaces for 13 delegates, no alternates. State Committeemen Chris Walton & Brian Burke will be in attendance.

Delegates will vote to nominate State-wide Primary candidates: US Senate, Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Treasurer & Auditor. Any candidate who receives a majority of the eligible votes caste by Delegates shall have the status of the endorsed candidate of the Massachusetts Republican Party. Also, Any candidates that receive at least 15% of Delegate votes will appear on the Primary ballot in September. The majority of Delegate votes will come from Town and City Committees, this is our chance to stand up and vote for the Party candidates of our choice.

Official members of our Republican Town Committee are the only eligible caucus voters, however any Republican can run for a delegate spot, if registered as a Republican as of December 31, 2017.

If you cannot attend the Caucus, but would like to be a delegate, you must make your intentions known to me in advance, so we can put your name forward. Otherwise, please attend the meeting.
